…the home of creativity

My photography services journey, has concentrated primarily on capturing the essence of people and exploring various genres within this realm. I pride myself on the versatility of my work, both in terms of capturing images and refining them during post-production. While my portfolio predominantly features models, ranging from seasoned professionals to newcomers, I've also had the pleasure of photographing numerous portraits of everyday individuals and actor headshots. As you peruse this and subsequent slides, as well as the sections below, you'll witness the consistent quality and diversity of the images I've created over the years.  Restoring old images are another of my photography services, whether they be prints, negatives or slides. Please ask for details. Should you be interested in taking advantage of my photography services then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. I'm open to considering collaborative projects with models on a TFP (Time For Print) basis if I believe it would mutually benefit our portfolios. Head Body 3 Quarters Full Essentially there are four ways in which I take a photo of someone. and they are:- 1. Head shot 2. Body shot 3. 3 Quarters 4. Full length Click on one of the buttons below to see how I define each type of shot. Alternatively just scroll down to view some example shots of each type that I have taken. Photographing People ...is what I do Types of Shot When it comes to creating a model portfolio, I not only vary the type of shots I take but also the lighting set-up and what I do in post production such as changing to black & white or sepia toned. A series of shots that essentially look the same apart from different poses is not what I would call a model portfolio. Head Body 3 Quarters Full I define a head shot as anywhere upwards from just below the shoulders as can be seen in the non-shaded area of the model on the left and the coloured photo on the right However like a painting, if I take a Portrait shot then it would be from just below the chest/breasts. Whether or not hands are showing in a Body shot depends on the shoot style and the subject in question. Examples of a 3 Quarters shot can be seen in the non-shaded area of the model on the left and the coloured photo on the right.
